Desiring Communion With The Father
October 3, 2007
The word “desire” can be broken down into two words: “de”, or “from”, and “sire”, or “father”.
So, desires are from the (or ‘a’) father. You just have to realize which father you are communing with, then you will see the fruition of that communion coming out as desires. If you are communing with the father of lies, of deceit, then the children of that communion will be anger, worry, and sin. If you are communing with the Father of light, of goodness, of holiness, of Heaven, the the children of that communion will be faith, hope, love, peace, patience, goodness, righteousness, self-control.
How then shall we move forward? By communing with the Lord. Reading his word. Praying to Him. Abiding in Him.”
Abide in me….”
