A Word from the Lord
November 30, 2007
This morning I was hanging out with God, and He asked me to get out my notebook and write what He said. When I was finished listening, and writing, I knew this wasn’t just for me. He instructed me to post it here.
This is what He said.
“I have no priority in the opinions of your culture or the people around you. I just simply don’t care. That filter does not touch My plans or My dreams. I am unaffected by it and I delight in finding those who will dare to dream with Me that way. Finding those who are concerned about bringing heavenly ideas to earth. Not trying to fit them into man’s systems and man’s boxes. Not trying to blend in with the culture, not even trying to champion the culture. But those who are willing to be new, different….fresh air to a smoggy land.
The newness is not what makes you fresh air. The Holy Spirit is what makes you fresh air.
You cannot merely be heroes and champions among men. You must be ambassadors, bringing My kingdom and My rule to the earth.
You are not supposed to be familiar to the world. You are supposed to be different, completely different. Shocking, confusing, radical, other than. My Spirit will never blend in with the world. My Spirit will never conform to their systems. If you want My Spirit, you must be willing to throw out the systems. You must. Those who have seen great change in places by My hand were not interested in blending in, or going unnoticed. I make a difference. I make a scene. I need men to see Me. I need them to know who I am. This will awaken their hearts. This will open their eyes. It is sin that offends people. I never offend people. I awaken them. Sometimes opening your eyes and seeing the truth for the first time is painful. It hurts to look at what you have been blinded to your whole life. But I will never stop opening eyes just because it’s painful or uncomfortable. I am not willing to leave My beloved comfortable in her death. I want her Alive!! Waking up in a field of coffins is horrifying, no wonder sinners would rather stay blind. But you cannot live in a coffin. You cannot change as a corpse. You must awaken, open your eyes, get up and walk. It must be done.
Raise the dead! Raise the dead! Go into the graveyards of the church. Go into the graveyards of the marketplace. Raise the dead! Raise the dead!
Beloved this work is hard and messy. It requires patience, perseverance, boldness and the fear of the Lord. Trust Me to be faithful. Trust Me to be steady and true. I will fulfill my Words. I will fulfill My promises. Speak My Word and it will not return void. It will produce a harvest wherever it is spoken. Proclaim it! Declare it! Don’t be ashamed of it. Don’t apologize for it. Speak it and let it stand. Let it penetrate. Let it go to work. It will be successful. It will accomplish it’s work. Trust Me. I am faithful.”
