The Secret Place is a dream God began birthing in our hearts two years ago. We really started to see glimpses of it years before, but the Lord has beautifully woven together the details for us in this last season.
The Secret Place is a practical, physical reality of Psalm 91:1 “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty (Whose power no foe can withstand).” AMP
We are people living in community, seeking the face of God, and pursuing His heart as our ultimate prize. Our current culture invites us to sleep through this life on earth. To be lulled into passivity by entertainment, pursuit of physical comforts, selfish living, and general noise. It seems that our society has made the Lord’s admonition of “Be still and know that I am God.” an impossible task. There is a depth greater than man has ever seen, in the great mystery and wonder of the heart of God. Daniel lived in a day when the seductions of this world were offered to him in plenty, but he knew a far more wonderous treasure was available if he were to set himself apart from the current, and quiet his soul in fasting and prayer.
We have tantalizing pleasures at our fingertips, every moment of the day. But they offer such a false satisfaction, such deceptive distraction. We are after the true prize. The real treasures of the Creator of the universe.
The heart of God.
At the moment, we are a family who has just returned to NM from Kansas City. We spent 1 year at the International House of Prayer-KC. We are gathering with families and individuals who are hungry for the Lord’s presence and hand in our city and our nation. We are excited to see God bring a new wellspring of His presence into this desert. We are worshippers and intercessors. Our hearts are to see God have his way in every church, every prayer meeting and every quiet time in this region. We will be standing in the gap here for God to breakthrough in fullness to every heart. We ultimately are creating a house of prayer. We are gathering and training up believers to walk strong with the Lord in these last days.
